This is a superb full colour picture book for pre-schoolers. the text is a gentle, lilting poem in rhyming couplets following the desire of a baby owl looking for someone or something to cuddle. Even the dangerous crocodile and python are present in flowery patterns with benign expressions. In fact everything does look cuddly in this book. The illustrations are in full colour across the white spaces, easy to read. The production values are highly professional. this is a book to read aloud at night with a cuddle in the offing.
