The original artworks of 'Can I cuddle the moon?', accompanied by original sketches and photos will be exhibited at the Dromkeen homestead from July 01 - September 23, 2011.

The Dromkeen homestead housing the world recognized picture book art collection is located at Riddells Creek in Victoria, a half hour drive north-west of Melbourne Airport. Dromkeen homestead is owned by Scholastic Australia Pty Limited. The company purchased it in 1985 so The Collection could be kept and displayed in its original setting. Scholastic Australia's commitment to the Dromkeen Children's Literature Collection has been remarkable. With all monies from programs and visitors going into The Collection's Foundation account, there has been no direct monetary return for Scholastic. All maintenance staffing, property and promotion is covered by Scholastic. They are indeed 'caretakers' of this unique Collection.

Dromkeen, a graceful nineteenth-century homestead, houses a unique collection of original artwork, manuscripts and other pre-publication material from Australian children's books. In the homestead's gallery rooms, exhibitions of original and preliminary artwork from children's books are on display each school term. The exhibitions are open to the general public and for booked excursions.
